Here are 22 things to do in Pueblo to kick off June, from the annual Safety Jam and an All Nations Festival to musical performances and art shows. The festival of the All Nations is set to take place at Chile Jam, Safety Jam, and the Pueblo Levee Walk/Run in downtown Pueble. The event, which includes food trucks, a scavenger hunt, mural art, and more, will kick off the summer reading program at a library. The American Medical Response Safety Jam will also feature helicopters, fire trucks, police vehicles, bike giveaways, and a chance to win a custom disability trike for those who qualify. The festival will also include a free concert featuring Grupo Herencia, Severo Y Grupo Fuego, and Bessemer Belaires. The deadline to sign up for the Puedo Leovee Walk and Run is June 8 at Dutch Clark Stadium, 1001 W. Abriendo Ave.

Abriendo Ave. | June 8 event features 8 a.m. shuttle, 8:30 a.m. 5K walk/run, 9:30 a.m. Zumba class | The family- and pet-friendly event is sponsored by the Pueblo Downtown Association and will include food trucks, a scavenger hunt, mural art and more. All minor participants must be accompanied by an adult. Registration is not required, but participation waivers must be signed before the campout.

13th and Francisco Streets | 10 a.m.-4 p.m. Saturday and Tuesday each week | Have you ever ridden in a handmade wheelchair made in the carpentry shop at the state hospital? Or been in a secured restraint chair? Or taken a picture in a straitjacket? These and many other historically significant items are on display at the Colorado State Hospital Museum. Learn the history of mental health treatment and the hospital's influence on Pueblo. Admission is $5 for anyone 12 and older.

Stitch-n-Bitch and A Royally Exquisite Pride Drag Show at The Ethos

615 E. Mesa Ave. | 6-9 p.m. for the fiber arts gathering, doors 6:30, show 7 p.m. for the pride event | Come stitch with your fellow fiber artists, and bitch about anything that springs to mind during the free event which will include a twining demo in June and July. Or take part in a presentation by Rocky Mountain Shining Star with a drag show that kicks off Pride Month with a sparkle. The show is a PG-13 event, and cost is a $5 cover.

110 Calla Ave. | 10:30 a.m. | The tradition celebrates beauty, diversity and community. Everyone is encouraged to bring a flower to create a community bouquet. The public is welcome and the facility is handicap accessible.

131 Spring St. | Doors open at 6 p.m., show at 7 p.m. | Cellist and singer Ian Cooke will perform. All ages welcome. Donations appreciated.

615 E. Mesa Ave. | 6-9 p.m. | Bring some friends, or fly solo and join up with other gamers for a night of traditional tabletop fun. The game library is free to use in-house. All ages event.

First Thursday Open Mic at The Ethos

The Loft Teen Center opens at Boys & Girls Club of Pueblo County

201 W. B St. | 5-8 p.m. | Celebrate First Friday with fiber artist Kimberly Sewell. Try your hand at weaving on a small loom. Sunday Jazz with Carlos and the Boys featuring Sewell runs from 2-4 p.m. Sunday, June 9. The show runs throughout the month and then the community weaving will be donated to Southern Colorado Equality Alliance as a thanks for their partnership in the show.

Union Ave. | 5-8 p.m. | Celebrate First Friday with "A Shining Moment" and "Fabulous Fun" art shows featuring everything from jewelry to pastels to sculpted clay creations by chatting with the artists and enjoying complimentary refreshments. Bike-themed art honors Pueblo Bike Month. The event is free plus free Mo Keenan-Mason "I Voted for Fun" stickers will be given away. Both shows will hang all month.
