In […] The Albuquerque BioPark is celebrating the 30th birthday of June the giraffe, who is the oldest reticulated giraffe at the zoo and is believed to be the fifth oldest female reticulate giraffe in North America. The BioPark will host a celebration on Sunday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m., with all of her herd mates expected to be present. This birthday is significant as the median age for a female of her species is around 20 years.
