Ohana Hut brings Pacific flavors to Albuquerque’s West Side

The new brick-and-mortar spot serves Hawaiian, Japanese and Korean dishes near Unser and McMahon. Fuego 505, a rotisserie and bar on Albuquerque's West Side, has opened a brick-and-mortar location of their Pan-Asian sister restaurant, Ohana Hut, in McMahon Marketplace, a shopping center at the southeast corner of the Unser and McMahon boulevards. The restaurant, which had operated under the direction of chef Raul Maestas for 10 years at the Marble Brewery Westside Taproom, opened its long-awaited brick-to-mortal location in McMahon Market. The menu includes a selection of shareable dishes inspired by Hawaii, Japan, and Korea, with prices ranging from $5 to $18. The more substantial Loco Moco ($15) takes inspiration from the classic Hawaiian dish of a hamburger patty served over rice and topped with brown gravy and a fried egg. An entire side of the menu is devoted to Poke Bowls, Sushi Rolls, Sashimi and Tempura.
