ALBUQUERQUE, N.M. (KRQE) – A first-of-its-kind event at CNM’s Workforce Training Center brought together skeptics of all sorts.

SkeptiCamp saw professionals and amateurs debunking fringe topics such as UFOs, the flat Earth theory, and much more. Officials said this is the first year the Duke City hosted the event.

News 13’s Larry Barker was present at the event and talked to the locals and out-of-towners who have a fascination with Roswell. New Mexicans for Science and Reason started the event to promote critical thinking.

If you couldn’t make it out this weekend, the group said they meet monthly every second Wednesday at 7 p.m. at CNM’s main campus.
