The city, along with community input, came up with a plan to make potential changes to the road. The first phase will involve using medians and protected bike lanes to reduce speeding, narrow the roadway, and improve safety. District 2 City Councilor Joaquin Baca said they will continue to use the data and community input to develop a final plan in the future.
