Two men have been arrested and charged for firing shots from a vehicle in southeast Albuquerque, according to the Albuquerque Police Department. The shooting occurred near Florida Street SE on Saturday afternoon, June 8. The officers found the vehicle and detained 19-year-old David Arias and Enzo Jimenez, 21, after seeing a firearm in the vehicle. The two were arrested and face charges related to the shooting. Jimenez was charged with four counts of shooting from a motor vehicle, while Arias was also charged with multiple counts of conspiracy. A search warrant was conducted on the vehicle containing 189 rounds and two firearms, with one reported as stolen. Five firearm magazines were also recovered, including one with 40 gunshot rounds. One of the two firearms recovered was disassembled.
