Boo at the Zoo 2026: Albuquerque BioPark Halloween Event
Ghosts, goblins and a few giraffes shared the trails at Albuquerque's Boo at the Zoo. Boo at the Zoo 2026: a fundraiser for the Albuquerque BioPark Zoo in 2026, took place at the ABQ BioPark on October 24, 2026. The event offered trick-or-treating, educational activities, a craft and enrichment station, and themed games. Tickets were purchased online in advance, with adult admission priced at $15 and youth tickets ages 3 to 12 set at $10. The fundraiser wove conservation messaging into its Halloween festivities, using candy made with sustainably sourced palm oil and encouraging attendees to bring used household and button batteries to the event for recycling. The pairing of trick-treat with sustainability practices reflects a broader push by zoos to use seasonal crowds for environmental education.
